Role of the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee:

Keeps under review the activities of IFAP (policy activities; representational activities), membership questions, and the financial position of the Federation.
Deals with all matters referred to it by the General Conference.
Appoints a Secretary General and approves senior staff appointments made by the Secretary General.
Appoints members of the Finance and Budget Committee
The Executive Committee has power, without prior reference to the General Conference, to take action on behalf of the Federation, but only on matters on which the Federation has established a policy.
